I didn't need another female in my program when I decided to bring Moana (Momo for short) from Ohio to the United States. I wanted to have a phantom female eventually but I fell under the spell of the beautiful Moon Song from the breeder. MyTymes sooner than expected. I fell in love with the beautiful blue and tan phantom when I saw her on Facebook. Freshly arrived from the United States, her enthusiasm, her curiosity, her joy of life immediately charmed me. At 11 weeks old, she was literally afraid of nothing and it wasn't our pack of 5 standard poodles who were out to impress her. She quickly became our service clown. Moana literally loves everyone and only wants one thing when she meets strangers to kiss them. She discovered that she could climb on the stools at the island and loves to sit there to keep us company. Definitely, my most greedy poodle, she is very easy to train, especially as she loves to learn. Moana is a female of good size, 60 pounds and 26 inches at the withers. She undoubtedly inherited a silver phantom weighing over 70 pounds from her dad. A magnificent male who in addition to being UKC Grand Champion is also an assistance dog. Her mother, also phantom (black and cream), UKC Grand Champion, is also a tall and slender poodle. In the next year, I plan to go for the title of Canine Good Neighbor and Novice in trick with her. For the rest, I plan to have her try different sports (scent detection, rat sport, rally, etc.) in order to find what she really likes to do and what her skills are. In the meantime she has obtained her Canine Good Neighbor certification, Moana being only 18 months old she will not be a mother before 2025, we must complete her health tests beforehand.
You can find all of Moana's health tests on the website OFA when these are carried out.
